An expert in Structured Finance and Diversified Fund Management, Simon brings a wealth of knowledge and Middle Eastern contacts (particularly in the gold and technology sectors) to Bowfell Capital.

Michael Wistow

Michael Wistow is a highly regarded international and domestic tax lawyer with an established practice with more than 20 years as a partner at top law firms, including Clifford Chance and Berwin Leighton Paisner. Michael is widely-recognised for his work and has been inducted into The Legal 500’s Hall of Fame.
Michael has a deep understanding of corporate, finance, funds, PE, restructuring and real estate transactions with particular specialisations in the real estate and finance industries.

Philip Newhouse
Managing Partner
Philip Newhouse is a corporate partner with almost 45 years of experience. He was a tax lawyer for 15 years, advising on complex tax planning and litigation, including at the level of the House of Lords and below in the fields of corporation tax, VAT and income tax. Client demand (and the increasingly small print of the yellow and orange books) led him into the field of international corporate and corporate real estate over the past 30 years. He has acted in the creation of numerous private equity funds in Europe and the Middle East and handled subsequent investments by those funds.
